Delivered on Time is no stranger to Russia nor the venue for next year's Winter Olympics Games and first ever Formula One race to be held in Russia, the coastal city of Sochi.
For the second time this year, D.O.T has deployed it's covered race transporter, to move a full blown demo race car and a show car for the Marussia F1 Team (The first time being for the annual Moscow City Racing event in July this year). Included in the movement was circa 2,500kg of running equipment, wheels and tyres etc.
It was the streets of the city itself which were the venue for the Formula Sochi event, seeing thousands of Russian spectators over the weekend spectacular. D.O.T were also pleased to play a part in the first F1 car to lay down rubber on the new track before next year's F1 event. How fitting that it should be a Russian team that is the first to turn a wheel!
Not only did we handle the logistics, but one of our full time F1 staff, having worked for many teams in the past, was requested to assist with garage set up and the running of the car during the event! It goes to show the broad range of experience that D.O.T has and can offer to its clientele.
This event now totals five for D.O.T in Russia with two consecutive Moscow City Racing events, two Formula Sochi events, and a Formula One show car programme in Moscow and the Siberian city of Novosibirsk.
